The aim of the project is to articulate two activities with differents rhythms and problems in the image environment : on one side the research and the production of image, the other side the broadcasting and the sale. There is in this project an almost educational dimension in the will of recontextualisation of the images. If the net allows us to reach it freely and free of charge, it erases nevertheless their origins and gives at first sight no informattion about their production context. Then we understand the interest of such a place in its capacity to restore some “thickness” in the images into a more cultural dimension instead of market.”S.8 Imagethéque” is an open platform, directly linked to the street , city, cities, world … No final design, no heavy walls , no deep roots , ” S.8 Imagethéque ” should be able to make and unmake itself as quickly as is made and unmade images.
