The project begins with a single analog image. New York-based painter Othelo Gervacio was invited to create a monumental three-part oil painting inspired by the visual language of natural history dioramas and the classical realism of the American West – an enduring source of inspiration for SATISFY. The architecture unfolds around this central work, balancing a series of intentional contrasts that mirror the brand itself, producing a space that feels immediately familiar while resisting conventional retail typologies.
The restrained material palette reconciles industrial utility with tactile warmth, reflecting SATISFY’s own dialogue between performance and contemplation. Cast zamak tables and hooks produced in our workshop, along with Jean Baptiste Durand’s bespoke lounge chair, complete the collection of artefacts that together form the starting point of a new field of expression for the brand.
